During the event, some new trends of the sector were introduced, as well as the main general goals of the program. Broadly, these strategies aim to place the industry as a basic tenet of economy.
In the specific case of the food sector, it is important to create a platform to improve the global visibility of the sector, boosting the interrelation between tourism and gastronomy. Moreover, a better differentiation and specialization of the product is to be promoted.
