Our visit to Interpack 2017 can only be valued as “absolutely interesting“. From 4th to 10th May, in Dusseldorf, we attended the largest international fair dedicated to the packaging sector, processing lines and components.
Interpack 2017, in terms of data, has been a record of visitors and exhibitors worldwide. We are talking about more than 170,500 visitors who came to Dusseldorf from outside Germany, the presence of 2,865 companies in a fair with 17 pavilions, and German and international experts from a total of 168 countries around the world. We are talking about a spectacular event that put us before an immense variety of innovations and a unique panoramic view of the market of this sector.
From Veserkal’s perspective, Interpack 2017 has been a good showcase to exhibit the various solutions that our company can offer to the sector and has allowed us to establish contacts with potential customers and suppliers, either in the European Community market or in non-EU markets such as Asia and America. Our team of Veserkal has been able to understand the different needs and concerns of these companies and this has given us the opportunity to offer our solutions based on our experience in different sectors such as meat, horticultural, dairy, fish, ready-made meals or pastry.
In many booths, the top subject was the digitisation of production processes with applications in Industry 4.0. In this sense, the tendency of the industrial sector is to propose an interconnected production that will allow, for instance, to inexpensively produce customized packaging or ensure traceability. The topic of sustainability was also ubiquitous at Interpack 2017. Companies showed greater resource efficiency, reflected both in the declining thicknesses of the materials used and in the production process itself. Alternative packaging materials are also gaining ground.
In short, Interpack has meant a great opportunity for Veserkal to disclose our range of solutions in a sector which is very committed to laying a solid foundation for the construction of the industry of the future. It has allowed us to establish new contacts, maintain a dialogue with potential clients and strengthen relations with the sector. We hope it will be a turning point to take a big step forward which helps us consolidate and bolster our international relations and grow following our company philosophy. See you at Interpack 2020.
